I hope you can forgive me for this approach. You were supportive in objecting to a rapist on a football pitch and I hope you will support moves to demand that those guilty of negligence, and possibly worse, in Rotherham, which allowed girls to continue to be groomed and raped, are brought to justice rather than pocketing a healthy pay off. The survivors in Rotherham have no such easy escape. I started a petition today to demand that those officers and councillors found to have neglected their duty in Rotherham are prosecuted.
