Update

Cllr Mills chaired a meeting last week with the council and police to discuss the issue. MP Charlie Elphick has written to Dover council asking for an update. I have approached the police to understand how any potential protests would need to work. The issue with Poulton close seems to be more complicated as they might not be parking illegally. As such I think we need to keep up the pressure to find a solution that stops them parking anywhere in the area. Dover Express are hopefully going to cover this story again. In the mean time please keep sharing this so we can show the strength of local feeling. The illegal lorry park has been served with a notice to close. Although this is subject to appeal.
