We have been fined as of October 9th, $200... $200!!!! Dave Heckler is the HOA community manager who also does the photo taking and processes the violations. It is shocking to know that he takes the pictures and doesn't care what the decoration is for. If he did, maybe my appeals would have been taken seriously.

After hearing from the news media about their conversations with the HOA board of directors say they have had no clue about my appeals regarding the violation of the Memorial Decoration, I feel very offended. I am sad to hear that my appeals were never considered by the board and this was the first time they were hearing about the memorial decoration.

After returning all of the HOA board of directors phone calls on Friday, I have only received one call back. As of right now, they said my fines were going to be taken off and the board would meet to discuss if or when I can have up the sign. This is unfortunate.

As far as I'm concerned at this point, I'm not going to take it down right now.
