The City of Toronto has let us know that due to the impact dogs off leash are having in the community, Sherbourne Common park has been added to the problem park list for 2025 and will be patrolled by Bylaw officers weekly! Some neighbours have already reported seeing bylaw out and ticketing this year.

The City has repeatedly let us know that in order to justify a bylaw enforcement presence, they need to have a volume of reports to 311. So though it doesn't feel like it, reports to 311 do make a difference. Reports can be made online, by calling *311, or on the 311 app. If you are affected by dogs off leash at the park, please continue to make a reports to 311. If there are no reports the city will assume there is no concern to the community.
