I want to thank you all so much for your support thus far.

CMS has reduced its number of "Draft Maps" down to 3. Red A, Brown A, and Brown C. 2 of the 3 maps have Sharon/Carmel/MP students rezoned to South Meck for high school.  CMS plans to finalize a vote with the new school board in February.

Sharon families need to act NOW to advocate for BROWN C. BROWN C is the only map that keeps Sharon at Myers Park.

We need to email board members now to advocate for Sharon families.  Please join our Facebook group "Keep Sharon/Carmel at Myers Park" for email addresses and good information on writing your letters.  I'll also include them at the bottom of this message.  We are uncovering a lot of REALLY important data and posting it there to share.  For example, Sharon's student enrollment has decreased by 237 students over the past 4 years.  That's a 25% drop in enrollment that will translate over to an enrollment decrease at Myers Park, making the rezoning of Sharon students unnecessary.

Please reach out with any ideas and questions.  We appreciate everyone's effort here.  PLEASE try to get a few more signatures.  Just 1 or 2 more from everyone will go a long way - we know there are many that we haven't reached yet that share our concerns.  Keep Sharon at MPHS!
