Hello everyone,
Below is an email we received for an update on the restaurant. It’s not looking good for us right now, but we can keep fighting on this!  Please email Amy Hyler at ahyler@pascocountyfl.net who is the Principal Planner for this project.  We need to express our concerns,  and many reasons why this restaurant should not happen.  I will keep you all posted if I hear anything else. 

“The County is currently working with a contractor on ARP construction design. The current construction plans include the addition of a restaurant. The County will work with a Registered Professional Archeologist (RPA) in the development of research design (Phase III) which will outline a project approach for mitigation measures. Research design consultation is required with DHR prior to conducting fieldwork. At this time there is no date for the start of the Phase III. By virtue of this email you are participating in public engagement and I, or someone with the County, will continue to respond to inquiries and provide information upon request. Comp plan changes go in front of the Planning Commission and Pasco Board of County Commissioners. The public has opportunity to comment at these meetings. ARP comp plan meeting dates have yet to be scheduled.“
