Independent human rights organizations have confirmed that at least 21 children have been killed during the suppression of protests in Iran

In Kermanshah (Kermashan), Melina Asadi, a 3-year-old Kurdish child, was killed by direct gunfire from Iranian government forces. Following her death, state-affiliated media blamed protesters and forced her family to confirm this narrative on camera, denying them both truth and justice.

Families of other child victims report similar treatment: intimidation, surveillance, threats, and restrictions on mourning or speaking publicly.

These crimes must not be hidden.

Restoring internet access is essential so these abuses can be documented and those responsible can be held accountable.
