I've sent the following message to current signatories: In the past couple of days, we've blown past 2000 signatures and as I write this, the total stands at 2139 signatures. Exceeding 2000 signatures seems to have triggered sudden interest by the media in the struggle to right the wrong done to Pat Sutherland, to Canadian heritage and to people the world over who want to uncover the past. Thus in the past couple of days I've been interviewed several times, including by Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) Iqaluit. The buzz around Pat is even more intense, thus keep watch for news and developments in the media. As before, if you know of people anywhere in the world who you think would want to be signatories, now is the time to let them know about the petition. Every additional signature is going to encourage decision makers to review the matter and take the needed action that is in the best interests of everyone.
