Thank you for supporting this petition last year. It was a valuable step toward raising awareness of the Yazidi genocide. Although the U.S. Congress failed to advance HR 379, Justice for Yazidis, a faithful group of supporters worldwide are still promoting immediate resettlement of Yazidi refugees in the U.S.. United Nations Goodwill Ambassador Ms. Nadia Murad, an enslavement survivor, also recently helped develop the Sinjar Action Fund, an international effort to rebuild the Yazidi homeland of Sinjar in Northern Iraq so that displaced Yazidis can have the option of return.
