Update on Twizzler.

Rabies test negative. What a surprise. Absolutely NO reason to have killed her. Why do they monitor domestic animals for 10 days for rabies, but automatically kill wildlife? I had her for 7 days. Couldn't they have waited 3 more days?  Such a waste of a beautiful little life.

Also, the finder got the phone recording from the call to Pasco County (not Hernando... my bad) Animal Services. She sent it to me. She told them multiple times Twizzler did NOT bite, nor make any contact with her son. They didn't care. They said it was "exposure" to a rabies vector. The finder was very upset on the phone call and hung up on them. She is not to blame for any of this. She had no idea of what was coming.  The vet clinic that gave her the Animal Services number also told them that Twizzler had come to me. That's how they found out.
