Dear Community,

We want to share an update on the ongoing efforts to honor Faith Johnson's memory and advocate for meaningful change.

As reported by The Winchester Star, a moving candlelight vigil was held on Saturday night outside Shawnee Springs Market. Friends, family, and community members gathered to remember Faith Johnson, celebrate her life, and offer support to the Johnson family. The vigil served as a powerful reminder of the impact Faith had on those around her and the urgent need for answers and accountability.

We are deeply moved by the community's outpouring of love and support. As you know, we are advocating for "Faith's Law," which aims to strengthen protections for children with complex medical needs in Virginia schools. This legislation proposes mandatory training, clear emergency protocols, individualized health plans, and increased collaboration between schools, families, and medical professionals.

The Johnson family is working with a delegate to bring this crucial legislation before the Virginia General Assembly. We continue to seek vocal support from the Frederick County School Board and the wider community.

Your signatures on this petition are a vital part of this effort. They demonstrate the collective voice demanding change and ensuring that Faith's story leads to a safer, more compassionate community for all children.

We encourage you to continue sharing Faith's story and this petition with your networks. Every voice matters in this fight for justice and change.

The Johnson family is also holding a support dinner through their nonprofit, Baby Faith’s Journey, on Friday, May 16th at 6 p.m. at the Eagles Board Room (529 N. Cameron St., Winchester). This event is open to children and families, offering resources and support for those caring for loved ones with special needs. Registration is required through Baby Faith’s Journey’s Facebook page.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to this important cause. Together, we can make a difference.
