Hi everyone, I wanted to hop on here and add some information about Charlie's current and expected medical needs. 

As you know, my daughter Charlie was abused by her babysitter in Aug of 2019. She had bilateral hemotomas, injury to the base of her neck and spine, broken and fractured ribs, bleeding in both retinas, spinal fluid around her brain as well as blood around parts of her brain, and outward bruising on her chest, ribs and thighs. 

Currently, Charlie cannot talk or walk independently. She is in multiple therapies and has KFAO braces to help her learn to walk. There are a few things long term we are looking at- continued monitoring of her seizures, spasticity in her muscles, therapies, and a few diagnoses that she now has as a result of her injuries. She also takes a few medications to help control seizure activity.

Charlie is forever changed by her injuries, but she has defied all odds given to her. I know my little girl is a fighter and she proves it every day. It's time for everyone to hear her voice and put her abuser behind bars for good!
