Os 21 artistas Asiáticos — mulheres, mães e crianças que tiveram suas imagens expostas e exploradas — “entregam” simbolicamente a Ivan Melo e Sara Silveira o prêmio:

• 🏆 PRÊMIO “COLONIALISTA DO ANO”

Por transformar crianças (meninas) e artistas em “material” descartável, e por usar e comercializar imagens de mulheres asiáticas sem consentimento válido, ignorando direitos básicos de imagem, dignidade e proteção — inclusive quando há famílias e responsáveis denunciando violações.

Este “prêmio” não é humor.

É um grito de protesto contra uma lógica antiga e violenta: brasileiros brancos com poder, acesso a dinheiro e redes no audiovisual acharem que podem tirar das mulheres asiáticas o que querem — imagens, rostos, corpos, histórias — e depois seguir carreira normalmente, como se ninguém tivesse sido ferido.

O que estamos pedindo continua o mesmo:

Parem imediatamente de usar, distribuir e promover qualquer material que contenha imagens de artistas vietnamitas obtidas ou usadas de forma irregular.

Que instituições e exibidores façam revisão ética (compliance) antes de dar palco e legitimidade a quem é acusado por mais de 20 artistas.

Que o caso seja investigado e tratado com seriedade, no Brasil e onde essas obras estiverem circulando.

The 21 Asian artists—women, mothers, and children whose images have been exposed and exploited—symbolically "present" Ivan Melo and Sara Silveira with the award:

🏆 "COLONIALIST OF THE YEAR" AWARD

For transforming children (girls) and artists into disposable "material," and for using and commercializing images of Asian women without valid consent, ignoring basic rights to image, dignity, and protection—even when families and guardians report violations.

This "award" is not humor.

It is a cry of protest against an old and violent logic: white Brazilians with power, access to money, and networks in the audiovisual industry believing they can take what they want from Asian women—images, faces, bodies, stories—and then continue their careers normally, as if no one had been harmed.

What we are asking remains the same:

Immediately stop using, distributing, and promoting any material containing images of Vietnamese artists obtained or used irregularly.

We urge institutions and exhibitors to conduct ethical reviews (compliance) before giving a platform and legitimacy to those accused by more than 20 artists.

We urge the case to be investigated and treated seriously, both in Brazil and wherever these works are circulating.
