How Does A Fighter Jet Lock Onto And Keep Track Of An Enemy Aircraft?

How does a fighter jet lock onto and keep track of an enemy aircraft? Can an aircraft detect that it has been locked onto, or is it just a convenient plot device in movies?

RADAR is RAdio Detection And Ranging + RAdio Direction And Ranging, so it pulses radiofrequency (electromagnetic energy) to ‘search’, to ‘locate’, then selectively ‘lock onto’ and then to ‘track’ a target. RADAR is the only technology that can ‘search’, ‘locate’, ‘lock onto’ and then ‘track and follow’ a selected target, apparently all over the world.

As we all have realized, we have not been able to escape these assaults, this torture, even though many have taken extreme measures of running to a different area of the city, then relocating to a different state and then to a different country.. The former CIA counter-intelligence officer, Mark Polymeropoulos, still has ‘brain aches’. I wonder if he realizes that that RADAR is locked onto him, even though he thinks he ‘safely’ evacuated from those countries where he was assaulted, the beam focused, pulsed microwave RF directed energy (DEW) has tracked him back to the supposed ‘safety’ of his home, here in the U.S.

When the ‘POWER DENSITY’ is increased, the beam focused, pulsed, microwave RF DEW, vibrates, hurts, heats, burns and destroys tissue of that particular body part, as seen on the RADAR gun’s computer screen, identified by the dielectric constants software.

The only case that I am aware of where one of the through-wall RADAR devices was used in a warrantless search is United States v Denson, that the U.S. Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit Court, allowed. Judge Neal Gorsuch wrote that opinion, who is now Justice Gorsuch sitting on the U.S. Supreme Court bench.

RADAR is an "active" sensing device in that it has its own source of illumination (a transmitter) for locating targets. It typically operates in the microwave region of the electromagnetic spectrum —measured in hertz (cycles per second), at frequencies extending from about 400 megahertz (MHz) to 40 gigahertz (GHz).

RADAR had many uses during the war - it was used for locating enemy ships and aircraft, to direct gunfire and to aid ship and aircraft navigation. Though the military continues to use RADAR, the technology was released to the public after World War II and was quickly used by many other industries…..

Off the shelf radiolocators (or RADAR devices) – cheapest to the most capable, that I am aware of:

Walabot Developer (US) Programmable 3D Imaging Sensor, for Makers, Developers, Engineers and Universities https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y2LRX46#feature-bullets-btf

The Walabot off-the-shelf pulsed, microwave RF sensor (radiolocator) is available for $599, with a stand off range of 35-feet (depending on the model).

The most capable handheld, through-wall RADAR device that I am aware of is a pulsed microwave RF, radiolocator, intentional radiator called STORMS or Sense Though Obstructions Remote Monitoring System, with a stand-off range of three football fields or more (depending on the model). https://www.vawdengineering.com/faq.html
