Well it is official! My bank account has been frozen and my last $500 taken because of non-payment of MSP. The amount owing is arbritrary ($5,000 +) because it does not reflect my earnings. Which means along with taking ALL the money I had, I can no longer use my bank account, my loan payment cannot be made unless I drive 3 hours to the nearest branch to make a payment in person. I can't mail in a cheque because my chequing account has been drained. Not sure what will happen with my car insurance payment as that will not be allowed to come out of my account. All I can say is thank goodness my rent cheque had already cleared.... While this govenment continues to tinker around the edges, British Columbians are still being subjected to regressive taxation policies! Along with these bullying tactics....
