The 2016 Budget was announced and the MSP Premium continues as a regressive tax! British Columbia still stands alone as the only province to charge head-tax like premiums for health care. The BC Liberals agreed that this system is out of date and not working but chose a bandaid fix of half measures for some British Columbians, instead of a wholesale change that would benefit ALL hard working British Columbians! Over 67,500 British Columbians signed this petition and continue to make their voices heard that they want this unfair head tax abolished. We all know health care costs money and rolling it into our taxation system is not only fair but also concrete and transparent.
