Important Update in the Search for Answers About My Father, Jimmy Edward Jeter

I want to thank everyone who has continued to share, sign, pray, and stand beside my family as we seek answers about the death of my father, Jimmy Edward Jeter. I have personally spent thousands of dollars trying to locate and obtain information from individuals I believe may have knowledge relevant to my father’s death. I have contacted private investigators in the Upstate South Carolina area, followed leads, reviewed available information, and continued asking law enforcement to take every concern seriously. One issue that continues to deeply concern our family is that private investigators informed me of social-media posts discussing deaths related to diabetes, DKA, and “eating too much candy” that were reportedly made before our family received the toxicology findings concerning my father. The reported cause of death was diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), even though my father had never been diagnosed with diabetes or had a known history of being diabetic, to my knowledge. I am not asking the public to decide what happened to my father. I am asking investigators to carefully examine the timeline, the social-media activity, all communications, toxicology findings, medical history, witness information, and every available piece of evidence. These circumstances deserve a complete, fair, and independent review. My father deserves answers. Our family deserves truth.
