The entire permitting and approval process of Puget Sound Energy's Tacoma LNG is full of conflicts of interest, violations of the public trust, and disregard for standard procedures. These processes are supposed to be in place to protect the land and people. PSE's project is also in violation of The Medicine Creek Treaty. The Puyallup Tribe was not meaningfully consulted and stands in firm opposition to this project which is threatening their lands, waters, and people. Washington State Attorney General Ferguson should be making sure that Treaties are Honored and the health and safety of our communities are protected.
