Dear Sir and Madam, The court was officially end yesterday but I must sadly inform you that it wasn't enough. Here is a briefly summary how it was going in the last months: - more than 1 millions physical signatures of Vietnamese, Japanese and international people, who want death sentence for the defendant, if he is guilty. - A lot of new evidences were officially showed during the case: ADN of the suspect on Nhat Linh's body; Hair, Blood of Nhat Linh in his car; traffic video of the suspact's car on the way where Nhat Linh's body was disposed; the absence of suspect during the day of incidence; - The suspect had a complicated life with violence and sex-sickness. While working as head of Parent Association, he always showed special kindness only to small girls. There were found in the suspect's house a lot of (under 14 years old) school girl porno magazins and videos. - The suspect denied the crime despite all the clear evidences and even accused the investigators of creating fake evidences! He showed no guilt or mercy. - prosecutors have requested the highest punishment for the suspect: Death penalty. HOWEVER, despite all of that, the suspect was only sentenced to life imprisonment/ no-limit imprisonment and he is still denying all the crime and trying to appeal the court ruling. ***According to Nhat Linh's Mom, the sentence is not life sentence but no-limit imprisonment, which means that the time can be shortened if the suspect does his duty well. He may be released after 15 years.*** It is unacceptable that a bad person like this can still live without feeling guilty and sorry for what he did. If you are wondering what the life in Japanese prison looks like, here is a documentary. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJp9nKaO7c4 Nhat Linh's family is of course not happy about the result and wants to fight till when the suspect receives death penalty. I am aware that in some people's opinion, the life sentence is pertinent but some others don't think the same way. There were a lot of same crimes like this happened in Japan with small girls as victims, and all the defendant were only sentenced life imprisonment! It is fair and enough hard to stop the cime? If Japan keeps giving mercy to the wrong people, the same crime will continue happening and there will be more families and children, who will suffer the same pain as Nhat Linh's family. Nhat Linh's family is calling out for justice and help. If you want to help them, please raise your voice and comment your opinion "which sentence will be pertinent" under this link in Vietnamese or Japanese or English (better in Vietnamese and Japanese). https://www.facebook.com/nguyenthinguyen.muadongveemlainhoanh/posts/2147138178649336 Thank you for your support.
