On Thursday June 30th members of Ireland’s parliament, the Dail, will vote on a Bill that proposes a ban on the cruel practice of hare coursing. For the Bill to become law the political parties will have to allow a free vote.
Sadly, the Sinn Fein (“Ourselves Alone”) party is considering voting against the Bill, thus scuppering its chances of passing.
The party needs to get the message loud and clear that hare coursing is unacceptable; regardless of how powerful are the people involved in this blood sport.
You can help sway Sinn Fein by sending a short message urging support for the proposed ban on hare coursing.
Simply email the message to yourself, with a “blind back-up “copy” to the following list of emails of all the Sinn Fein members of parliament:
