Petition Submitted!

Dear Petitioners, This morning I went down to Grafton House and submitted the petition to IBC's Petitions Officer. The petition was well received, and the formal process of petitioning will now begin. Here I am pictured below en route, clutching over 400 pages of both your signatures and comments. Thank you to all 4096 all who signed. Though predominantly from the UK, signatures from Ipswich's former residents were also plentiful. Petitioners have signed from as far flung as Ireland, Singapore, South Africa, New Zealand, Canada, USA, India, and Poland! The family of people who care about Ipswich is truly international, and says a great deal about this special place we call home. Speaking of being international, I will now fly to Namibia this afternoon! Where I will continue to lobby for our town from afar. Best, Dan
