We’ve all seen the imagery: a receipt showing "Paid in Full." The message is that the heavy lifting is over—the spiritual debt is settled, and grace is a free gift. But as we look at the world around us (and our own lives), a hard question remains:

If Jesus paid it all forward, why are we still suffering?

It’s one thing to see "0.00" on a t-shirt; it’s another to feel the cost of living every single day. We’re told the "wages of sin is death," but even those seeking a better path face sickness, injustice, and loss.

This petition isn't just about a physical change; it's about a change in how we support one another through that suffering. If the spiritual price was paid so we could have life, then our mission should be to make that life actually livable for everyone—starting with the issues we are fighting for here.

Grace shouldn't be an excuse to ignore the pain of the present; it should be the fuel to fix it.
