This week, the University Centre for the Study of Missing Persons has released the ‘Men Missing On A Night Out’ report. The study was led by Geoff Newiss (Institute of Criminal Justice Studies) and Dr Ian Greatbatch (University School of Earth and Environmental Sciences). It reveals bleak statistics of young males going missing on a night out with fatal consequences, particularly around this time of year. Unfortunately a high percentage are found in water.
