Armenian wrestler Arthur Aleksanyan and Armenian National Olympic Committee tried to abuse the Olympic Games for political purposes and made a disgraceful provocation toward Azerbaijan.

By wearing a t-shirt during award ceremony with the portrait of annihilated Armenian soldier (http://armnoc.am/arm/news/1245/ymbish-artur-aleqsanyann-olimpiakan-khaxeri-chempion-e.html ) during recent escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh region internationally recognized territory of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenia, Armenian athlete and NOC breached the several provision of Olympic Charter namely principle that  “no kind of demonstration or political, religious or racial propaganda is permitted in any Olympic sites” defined in numerousarticles 2.10, 16.1.3, 27.6, 50.2, 51.3 and Bye-law to Rule 50 which clearly specifies that no form of publicity or propaganda may appear on persons, on sportswear on articles of clothing in the Olympic games.https://stillmed.olympic.org/Documents/olympic_charter_en.pdf

We express our objection to the case and request International Olympic Committee to intervene and disqualify Armenian athlete Arthur Aleksanyan and Armenian National Olympic Committee according to rules for such shameful provocation.

We expect just approach and decision by International Olympic Committee.
