• LAUSD Board Member Kelly Gonez wrote a letter to LADOT requesting the immediate installation of a stoplight. Here is her tweet about it, please comment and retweet her to show your appreciation for her support!
• LAUSD Office of Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS) sent a formal request to LADOT to perform a study for a stoplight and if it meets the criteria, to install one.
• Oxnard St Elementary had 60 families write letters to Councilmember Paul Krekorian requesting his advocacy on our behalf. Here is a video!
• Krekorian responded last night that he continues to defer to LADOT. This is concerning because LADOT has told us they’ve done no research on this intersection and they keep changing their answers for why they deny a stoplight. Krekorian’s office should be holding LADOT accountable and Krekorian should be listening to his constituents.
• Univision 34 did a segment on the intersection. They are also doing a follow-up story.
