Hi all, we’ve reached 438 signatures on this petition—thank you so much for your support! 

I wanted to share a wonderful update about the sea lion pictured in this petition. The sea lion is doing well and is almost ready for release back into the wild! ❤️🦭 A huge thank-you to CIMWI and everyone at the rehabilitation center for the incredible work they do caring for these animals and giving them a second chance. We are so grateful for everything you do.

There are several meetings planned over the next couple of weeks, and we will share an update as more is explored and we have additional information to share. 

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to sign the petition, share it, talk about the issue, and support our sea lions. Every signature and every voice helps bring attention to the importance of protecting these beautiful animals and the places they depend on.

I’m very encouraged by the progress we are seeing, and I’m looking forward to the progress and positive things we have in store. 🦭❤️
