Euphoria from the reprieve in Mary Jane’s execution still hangs in the air — we are exhilarated! We thank everyone who has joined us in this massive undertaking to change the course of Mary Jane’s story. Our petition says that, “we join the multitude and appeal for clemency and pardon for Mary Jane Veloso.” It’s true -- each and every one of you has helped us to become a multitude, and together we played a significant role in showing widespread international concern for Mary Jane, as a victim of human trafficking. Our work is not yet done — we must continue our petition for clemency and pardon. So far, we have only achieved a stay in the implementation of the execution. We must continue our advocacy until we bring Mary Jane home to the Philippines. Please continue to share about Mary Jane and invite your friends, family and colleagues to sign the petition. We must remain active and vigilant to make sure that Mary Jane’s finds justice. Mary Jane is also us. We dream. We share our love and we are ready to sacrifice for our dream and for our loved ones.
