Hello. The meeting with the Village Manager Michael Braiman and the Village Engineer Daniel Manis was mildly fruitful, but I will not be pursuing the matter further because I don't have the time. Mr. Manis is available to anyone who might want to pick it up from here and he can be reached at manisd@wilmette.com or 847-853-7602. It would entail getting a certain amount of signatures from residents of Wilmette and then taking it to a larger governing body. Their proposal was to try to add about 12-15 more spots on Linden, just east of 5th. There might be pushback from the local businesses, I gather. It sounds like a time consuming endeavor that I don't have the time for. I will continue paying for my parking spot and wish other renters all the best. Thank you.
