Recognizing Janice Fraser, Constituency Assistant to NDP MLA Anam Kazim

It’s time I sent out a huge THANK YOU to Janice Fraser, Constituency Assistant to my NDP MLA, Anam Kazim, who quickly responded to the questionnaire package I sent to all 87 Alberta elected representatives this past week. NOT ONLY did Janice Fraser forward the package on to MLA Calgary-Glenmore Anam Kazim BUT SHE ALSO FORWARDED THE PACKAGE TO Minister Stephanie McLean, Caucus, AND Government Outreach. What’s interesting is that when MLA Kazim was elected I immediately requested a meeting and was denied that request. Naturally, my nose was in a knot at Janice not organizing the meeting as fast as I would have liked and I even made those thoughts clear in an earlier newsletter. Having gotten off to a rocky start, I am delighted to now say THANK YOU to JANICE FRASER and recognize her ability to organize MLA Kazim’s schedule and mine for meetings, and the schedules of others we have met with over the past couple of years, because Janice has played an important role in having our “mission” heard. I thought it time to publicly recognize Janice’s contribution; her ability to seriously listen, and do what she can to shine a light on our mission. MLA Kazim is lucky to have such a capable, well-intentioned, assistant as Janice Fraser and I just wanted to go public with that opinion. I encourage all of you to contact your MLA and inquire about their plans to address our questionnaire package. Hopefully, you’ll receive the same service I did from Janice Fraser.
