The company that cares for the powerlines came and discussed options for clearing of plants for the lines near home.
They have agreed to cutting some vines rather than spraying, pulling flowering plants out before spraying of the verge and covering native plants with plastic near where they are spraying so it doesn't drift onto them. We even had a discussion about the security of Native Bees colonies I am aware of. It's not a perfect solution but it has made them think and it was the sign that started the conversation”
