Only 19 Signatures until we hit 5,000!

Manitoba is speaking - LOUD - and it is saying as a collective voice that not only does the Enhanced Nursery School Grant NEED to stay - but that ALL NURSERY SCHOOLS PLAY A VITAL ROLE IN THE MANITOBA ELCC FRAMEWORK!!! 

This message is CRITICAL right now - as all Nursery Schools received word FINALLY that they can reopen for September - BUT NOT AS NURSERY SCHOOLS!!! We are awaiting further clarification on this, including REASONS AND RATIONALE - because this DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! 

Manitoba Families DEPEND on their nursery schools - and the Minister of Families herself keeps proudly proclaiming their Temp Child Care Services worked to the extent that there are OVER 2,000 VACANT spaces right NOW in Manitoba!! So.... WHY ON EARTH DO NURSERY SCHOOLS NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO REOPEN FOR THEIR REGULAR SERVICES? This makes no sense!!! 

The ELCC Program has stated that more information will be provided in the coming days; yet another example of the Province making MASSIVE changes to our ELCC sector without consultation, but then not being able to answer the common-sense logistical questions that arise from their massive changes. And with under 3 weeks until centres would be reopening! Unacceptable!!
