If you think my headline and photo is deliberately trying to provoke guilt, you'd be right! There is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED for these innocent domestic rabbits to be cruelly suffering outside.
We see what we want to see.
When the weather is great, we see no problems.
Who thinks about these innocents when it is hailing, raining, storming, and minus 40 degrees celsius?
This is a preventable situation, and we MUST PREVENT IT! Its the least we can do. Please spread the word. Call your favourite radio and TV talk show host to discuss this. Talk to your family and friends. Talk to your coworkers and supervisors. Talk to your fellow club members, fellow students, neighbours, taxi drivers, bus drivers, fellow passengers.
With a city of more than one million, we CAN solve this problem. We must require more of ourselves, our MLA, our Justice Minister.
Why should this prey species be punished for something we did?
