Petition to Hon'ble PM / FM and Complaint made to NHRC

May 31, 2018 — UPDATE: Date: 31.05.2018 Dear Bank Retirees/Pensioners, 1) There has been no response from Hon'ble PM/FM 2) Complaint lodged with NHRC stands dismissed as per enclosure citing that Service matters are not entertainable as per their own provision of procedure. However, I have once again reiterated that it is post retiral service matter, where hapless Bank Retirees/Sr. Citizens have been deprived of their fundamental right to updation of pension from their own accumulated funds, though the same benefits are given to Retirees of Central Govt under CCS Rules 1972 under the budgetary allocation which is a cost to exchequer utilising the taxpayers money. It is unfortunate that the Bank Retirees/Pensioners' issues are not being dignifiedly attended to either by PMO or NHRC. Even in the ongoing wage negotiations, UFBU & IBA is also not serious about discussing the Retirees issues. Under the circumstances, it is left to the Bank Retirees to chalk out forceful action unitedly to achieve the desired result. Retirees are requested to lodge as many individual complaints as possible to exert pressure on the decision makers. My sincere thanks to one and all for their support in the matter.
