Friday 6th January was an extrordinary day. Bash & Nicole, accompanied by members of their family and a BBC film crew, travelled to London to meet the brilliant Jo Stevens MP and to submit your petition to the Home Office. As they walked towards the Home Office entrance they were astounded to see a wall of TV cameras and reporters waiting for them. We knew that you had helped them capture the attention of the media - but we didn't realise just what a good job you have done! For Bash, any visit to the Home Office is traumatic, but this time he felt the strength of 14,000 friends accompanying him! Having submitted the petition as well as a new file of powerful evidence and legal argument, the ball is firmly in the court of Home Office ministers. We really don't know how long it will take but we will keep you up to date with any news. In the meantime, we need to say a big thank you to every single one of you for lending your strength and human decency to Bash and Nicole.
