"Thank you for your patience while we review your concern regarding the paint flaking on the bonnet of your Boracay Blue vehicle.
I would like to reassure you that a goodwill contribution towards the repair is definitely something we can review. In some cases, this may result in a significant contribution; however, whether the repair can be fully covered or partially contributed towards will depend on the authorised dealer’s findings and the final repair cost.
At this stage, we are unable to proceed with or escalate the case without a formal diagnostic inspection carried out by an authorised Vauxhall dealer. This assessment is required to confirm the cause of the paint issue and to support any goodwill decision.
If the vehicle has not yet been diagnosed, please arrange an inspection with any authorised Vauxhall dealer. The diagnostic and repair costs would need to be settled by you initially. Once completed, please provide us with:
The dealer’s diagnostic report
The repair estimate
Copies of the paid invoices/receipts
Once we receive these documents, I will escalate your case for review, at which point we will be able to confirm the level of contribution or reimbursement that can be offered.
