Councillors support GM & voted against!

Firstly and most importantly THANK YOU to everyone for your support. �

On our petition there are a LOT of very on-point comments!!!  You don’t need to be a brain surgeon to see what’s going on….Obviously many of YOU can see what’s at play here, thanks for expressing your thoughts. (See photos).

We attended the last Council meeting on Monday night, where we were allowed a 3 minute talk on why we disagree with the GMs decision on his parking demands. 

Sadly common sense fell on SOME deaf ears, and there are issues with what occurred (more info later). 5 councillors & the Mayor voted in favour of the GM. �‍♀️  Councillor Archer, one of those 5, also has a MAJOR conflict of interest as owner of a competing & similar heritage style wedding venue business & should have not been allowed to vote �. 

Thanks to councillors TERRETT, MCCULLAGH & BROOKES for voting in our favour. �

We will keep you updated…

We are “lucky” that we have another successful business and a full time job to keep ourselves busy and financially secure. These delays are frustrating but don’t effect us as much as they effect all the other people who are awaiting this project. 

We are very sorry to those locals promised jobs, the over 50 Tasmanian suppliers who are delayed in us selling and using their products and produce. To the contractors ie builders, plumbers, electricians, painters, labourers, trades, musicians, the list goes on. We know this also effects you and these delays are damaging. We are so sorry � 

People willing to invest in Tasmanian rural communities like Campbell Town need council SUPPORT and encouragement, not this rubbish. Negative decision and delays sadly effect a LOT of people & their families.

Again, THANK YOU to every single one of you who have supported us, it is HUGELY appreciated. 

Things are still happening behind the scenes�️��‍�…we WILL get there; there’s no doubt about that�.
