We need more nurses and nurses need more support

Lots of articles in the press about the need for more nurses.

We are hearing about the fears we all face, nurses and other health care professionals are literally at the front line of these fears. 

Understaffed, exhausted, no time for breaks, worries about their own family and friends.

We are asking that the Government steps in and pays for, or helps pay for this year's registration.

Nurses pay $175 per year to their regulatory body AHPRA, this organisation is essential to maintain professional standards. Under normal circumstances this can be financially difficult for some people. These are not normal circumstances. People are struggling, financially and emotionally.

Paying, or assistance to pay the registration fee would ease the burden for some people and would also serve as a resounding Thank You to these important people.
