I wanted to give an update and thank everyone for signing. My biggest reason to make this petition was to create a respectful way of asking HBO to give us an epic ending. I think the remake petition is more of a jab at D&D. I wanted a petition that respectfully asked HBO to consider giving us what we need to have closure on this series. Like I said, the ending was left so open that somebody can come up with a season 9. I think season 8 was intense, but the one thing that makes me know I wasnt as connected to season 8 was the character deaths. I wanted to cry when Jamie died, but how could I. I wanted to cry when Danerys died, but I had a whole week since episode 5 to know that she would die in the next episode so it was predictable. I have known for quite a while that Dany was slow growing mad with power. So I had thought for a long time she would end up having to die. But her death wasnt beautiful. It was cold being killed by her own family, whom she was deeply in love with. Personally I would love to see a season 9 with Dany being resurrected, filled with vengeance on the Starks and John Snow. I would also like to see John on the Trone with a dragon hatchling of his own, I mean there is a reason he is half Targaryean right? Cause after season 8 I dont know what it is, cause Dany obviously isnt worried about him claiming the throne at all, so it cant be accounted to part of why she went mad at all. I mean she was alone in the throne room kissing him when he killed her, so she trusted him... a lot.
