While I've had a more relaxing day today, my auntie Dionne woke to an inbox full of orders for campaign stickers, including a bulk order from my local MP Graham Jones! So 'Sticker HQ' is now working flat out on your orders. Thank you so much for supporting me in this way. I went to Old Trafford this afternoon to see my beloved Reds Legends. Access and provision for wheelchair users at the Stadium is great but today was the first time I had to use their Changing Place facility myself. It is a superb example of a Changing Place room - plenty of space, a clean, adjustable bed, ceiling tracking hoist, a good supply of paper towels, antibacterial wash etc etc. I was so glad of the facility today as if it hadn't been there, I'd have had to head home at half time and miss half of the match. And for those who claim these facilities are hardly used... there were another 3 young people in wheelchairs waiting in the queue when I came out! So thank you Man Utd. Let's see others follow in your footsteps to make all leisure, sporting, shopping and travel facilities fully accessible for wheelchair users. Oh and hopefully some of the other users of the room today will have seen a copy of my Changing Places campaign card which I happened to leave in there! I've also had an email reply today from CBBC Newsround who may be interested in featuring my story. Here's their reply: "Hi Zack, Thank you for your email and apologies for the late reply.
