Thanks to an excellent article in the Isle of Thanet News the petition is now up to over 700 names! There are only two days to go, however, until KCC start spraying glyphosate on the streets of Thanet. 

So what more can you do? 

1. Share the news article & petition link far & wide.

2. Pull out the poor wild flowers & plants that you have growing in front of your property on the public footpath/roadside - this is better than the large side effects on all living things (including our bees, hedgehog population and pets) of the spraying with glyphosate.

3. Put up a sign in front of your property to  make it clear to KCC that you do not wish to have their weedkiller on your street.

4. Lobby your councillors (parish, town and county) to ask them to send a clear message to KCC.
