Saturday night, we had our first Quiz & Curry night and it was indeed a HUGE success! 🎉
A little different from our usual campaigning locations. As we gathered in Sully Sports & Social for a wonderful evening of unity, community, very difficult Quiz questions LOL and a whole lot of FUN! We can't thank you enough for embracing the evening with such gusto, it fuelled, once again, our drive and determination to keep pushing the fight forward.
We raised a whopping £1,265 and we will keep updating you, on how we will use your donations, to protect Cosmeston Lakes. We also want to take the opportunity to thank Taste Of Turner, for providing the most delicious curries and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to our prize table!
This community campaign relies on YOUR ongoing support, we are stronger, together! 💪
For now, our main goal is to work towards our "bundle" of evidence. The evidence we gathered over the last few months is very concerning, to say the least. From the worrying e-mails, to the lack of planning, to the wildlife issues. There is so much there to discuss. We have a lot of questions!
Therefore we are bundling all our findings, in the hope to be able to present these in-person to the councillors involved.
So if we go a little quiet, rest assured. We are all working hard behind the scenes to make sure we will be HEARD! 📢
