The UNESCO formally expressed its concern regarding the massive industrial fleet hovering around the Galapagos and stated that: "The state of conservation fro the Galapagos Islands, including the outcomes of the fishing practices review and possible measures to address them, will be examined at the forthcoming 44th session of the World Heritage Committee". 

We won't take this as a guarantee something will be done therefore, please keep sharing and talking about this petition! We can continue to put pressure on the UN to do something about it until this committee meeting happens.
