KXAN reporter is still waiting for a response from the Governor’s office. However, is it not also possible that the state dental board could adopt a temporary expansion of board rule 108.8, in effect for the Covid19 disaster, that would allow expanded telehealth options to dentists?  
This petition with supporters doesn’t have expensive lobbyists fighting for teledentistry  in Texas, and as far as I can tell, one organization is no longer addressing the issue either.
