Good evening folks, Madeleine Moon MP has secured an Adjournment Debate for next Wednesday - March 15th - at 11am in Westminster Hall. I am extremely unlikely to be able to attend as I have taken holiday this week to attend the now cancelled and rescheduled meeting with Mr Afzal CEO of APCC. Team member and Mrs Moon's constituent Diane Burns is hoping to go with her husband Rob and they would really appreciate some support. As usual we have received very short notice, but happily we are up to the challenge of working to tight deadlines! There are usually 32 seats available to the public in an Adjournment Debate and during the debate of February 25th 2015 we managed to fill all of them. This type of debate lasts only 30 minutes but a good turnout is non- the- less very important as 15 of those minutes involve a response from the Policing Minister. The Police Federation England and Wales are shifting around appointments in order to send a representative if at all possible. Please contact your MP and request their attendance – I don't know if it is the kind of thing Police and Crime Commissioners usually attend, but it is worth asking your PCC if they would be willing to be there to demonstrate their support for our campaign. The worst thing that can happen is that they say, “No.” Let me know if you are able to attend on the day CathrynHall@outlook.com Naturally media coverage would be very welcome. Best wishes as always, Cathryn
