Dear friends and wildlife lovers everywhere The response to this petition has been amazing both on the internet and through face to face street collections locally. Thanks to your support and the efforts of our local Badger Group we have had excellent coverage in the local press. We have succeeded in persuading Natural England to come out and look at the site. Sett closure licenses are often granted based just on the paper application so this gives us some hope. Natural England’s assessor will be visiting soon to decide whether or not to allow the badgers to be removed.
