SC judgement on child homes

Congratulations to miss Sampurna Behura an activist of Bachpan Bachao Andolan who filed a PIL against failure of State Government to implement various provisions of JJ Act 2000, including the establishment of Child Welfare Committees, JJ Boards, SJPUs, establishment of appropriate Homes for children in need of care and protection and several other human rights issues. Today Supreme Court of India gave his judgement in favour of Children of India and also directed State Governments to improve their mechanism.
