Dear friends and well-wishers of Nepal,

Thank you for signing and sharing the petition. We've collected 700 signatures in less than two days, and are planning to send the petition to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the named government officials on Wednesday May 12, 2021, upon gathering at least 1,000 signatures.

We are grateful to all the Nepali organizations that have endorsed this petition: Non-Resident Nepali Association (Canada), Nepal Janajati Association Canada, Nepalese Canadian Community Service, Namaste Radio, Helping Hands Without Borders Canada, Nepal Library Foundation Canada, Yakthung Chumlung Association of Calgary, Nepalese Community Society of Calgary, and GP Koirala Foundation Canada.
