On Saturday March 7th we celebrate Lā4000 — 4,000 days of NO CONSTRUCTION on Mauna Kea. 

This milestone honors the continued protection of this sacred mountain and the strength of the lāhui, kiaʻi and those around the world who have stood in defense of Mauna Kea.  Join in by posting your favorite photos to a friend on email or on social media and wearing red or your kia’i shirt to stand in solidarity with the mauna. Together, we recognize the power of community, culture, and commitment to mālama ʻāina and aloha ‘āina.
