Happy Holidays! Recently, staff provided an update to City Council regarding the Verdugo Wash visioning project. This update sought to demonstrate early design concepts for the wash. While there is much work to do, these initial ideas represent what is possible within the wash and begin to illustrate the potential for scope and scale. This includes bicycle and pedestrian paths, as well as enhanced vegetation along the route

The project website has been updated to exhibit these early concepts. Designs are shown for both the narrower and the wider conditions of the wash, also responding to the surrounding neighborhood context. Feedback forms are provided beneath each section to provide your insight and preference to the initial designs. We invite you to view the early concepts and tell us your thoughts. Our initial survey, as well as our second survey, are also both still available on the website for your input.
