Hey there,

Many things are not partisan, and those things, especially important items like infrastructure, usually take direct citizen support.  Thank you for participating in a chorus to the newly created Texas Broadband Development Office that rural counties, and Cooke County in particular, do deserve consideration as the new office invests $600 million to improve rural cellular coverage and Internet availability and performance.

Please consider encouraging others to join the 315+ names already on the petition.  It’s a no brainer.  I have yet to have anyone say cellular coverage and Internet performance in Cooke County is not a country mile poorer than state standards or urban infrastructure.  Of the dozens of conversations the unanimous consensus is that without some initiative there will not be an accounting between the 45,000 people in Cooke County and the new Texas BDO.  Add to the awareness that a taxpayer investment process is taking place and that Cooke County wants to participate.
